Patrick Mahomes is upset that the Kansas City Chiefs have lost yet another wide receiver to injury.

This season, the Chiefs and head coach Andy Reid have lost a number of wideouts to injuries.

Due to an injury to his core muscles, wide receiver Skyy Moore was placed on injured reserve by the Chiefs on Thursday.

Moore can return as soon as possible for Kansas City’s game against the Carolina Panthers on November 24 but will have to miss at least four games.

The Chiefs are presently getting ready for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, a division opponent.

The injury occurred after the Chiefs traded for a conditional 2025 fifth-round pick on Wednesday with the Tennessee Titans to acquire Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, if Kansas City makes it to the Super Bowl and Hopkins plays 60 percent of the team’s offensive snaps, the conditional pick could become a fourth-round selection.

Moore, who was selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, has not contributed to the team’s offensive output this year.

He plays 82 offensive snaps and fails to catch three targets.

Even though the Chiefs are dealing with wide receiver injuries, Moore has not produced much.

Hollywood Brown is projected to be out for the season after suffering a sternoclavicular injury during the preseason and Rashee Rice is out for the season with a knee injury.

Due to a hamstring injury, JuJu Smith-Shuster also missed the most of Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. He is anticipated to miss this weekend as well.

Mahomes will have to rely on tight ends Travis Kelce and Noah Gray, as well as wide receivers Hopkins, Mecole Hardman, and Justin Watson, while Moore is on injured leave.

Running back Kareem Hunt is another option for Kanas City’s offensive support.

As a rookie, Moore caught 22 receptions for 250 yards.

He recorded 21 receptions for 244 yards and one touchdown the previous season, putting up comparable stats.

If the Chiefs defeat the Raiders, they can move up to 7-0.

Prior to their road game, they will probably promote at least one of the four wide receivers—Justyn Ross, Nikko Remigio, Montrell Washington, and Cornell Powell—who are currently on the team’s practice squad.

If Hopkins plays, Kansas City will be able to use the three-time First-Team All-Pro.

For a Titans team that just won one game and has a poor quarterback situation, Hopkins has 15 receptions for 173 yards.

During training camp, he sustained a knee injury that didn’t need surgery.

Hopkins recorded 75 receptions for 1,057 yards the previous season.
