When the NFL authorized Tom Brady’s acquisition of a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders earlier this week, the notion of someone far more well-known and adored—sorry, not sorry—arose.
Someone questioned NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell about Taylor Swift during the NFL owners’ meeting in Atlanta.

Let me clarify right away that Swift, who is currently dating tight end Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, has never, ever made it known that she would like to own a franchise.
Hold on, though—in February, Swift and Goodell were spotted chit-chatting in a suite during the Super Bowl.
“With that, has anyone approached Taylor Swift about being a minority partner in the Chiefs?” Abraham asked Goodell, who began smiling at the question before Abraham even finished asking.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, with @TomBrady approved as a Raiders limited partner, was asked if anyone has approached @taylorswift13 about buying a piece of the Chiefs. He laughed and said, “If she’s interested, I think she has the ability to do it.”

“I really don’t know the answer to that one,” Goodell said to laughs in the room. “If she’s interested, she has the ability to do it, let’s put it that way.”
If anyone had the “ability,” it would most certainly be Swift.
But it seems that some people’s lavender mists have begun to blur over the notion that the music sensation might soon add “NFL owner” to her already stellar résumé.
Blogger and YouTuber Zennie Abraham mentioned how the Brady trade has already piqued interest in Raiders season tickets at the conclusion of a press conference with Goodell in Atlanta.
Her net worth was estimated by Forbes to be about $1.6 billion last week. She has surpassed Rihanna ($1.4 billion) and her beauty empire to become the richest woman in music.
Furthermore, she wouldn’t be the first famous person to buy a portion of a team—the majority of celebrities who have invested in professional sports teams own shares in NBA, MLB, or soccer teams.
YES. #TaylorSwift, #NFL Owner has been put into the universe by the Commish himself. And yes, I am #ReadyForIt. I love this idea @TaylorSwift13. She'd be the coolest owner of all time. @PatMcAfeeShow https://t.co/UCHAmTcDUp

Social media users, excluding supporters of the Chiefs’ opponents, enjoyed the notion of Swift owning an NFL team. However, one user, X, questioned why the Chiefs would have to be the team.
“Maybe Travis can convince her to buy the Browns,” they suggested.

Could Taylor Swift become part-owner of the Kansas City Chiefs? 🤔

If Taylor swift bought the Steelers (she says she wants to buy a NFL football team), I would QUIT watching the Steelers. Forever.
