Angel Reese hits out at critics after best WNBA Chicago Sky game yet

Angel Reese sent a message out to her critics on Thursday morning – after enjoying her best game yet in the WNBA after being drafted by Chicago Sky.

Reese scored 20 points in the Sky’s narrow loss to top-ranked Connecticut Sun on Wednesday – but Chicago were eventually beaten 83-75. Reese collected 10 rebounds and 1 assist to earn player of the game on the night.

Taking to X on Thursday, the 22-year-old posted: ‘Remember, YOU ARE ENOUGH.

‘Surprise yourself before you surprise others. Do what makes YOU happy. Don’t care what ANYBODY has to say or think. LIVE THE LIFE YOU WANT TO LIVE!!’

Chicago’s loss Wednesday leaves the team 4-7 for the season, with the next game falling on Friday night against Washington Mystics.

After that, Reese will face off against her college rival Caitlin Clark as Chicago Sky face Iowa on Sunday in a hugely anticipated showdown in the WNBA.

In the first meeting between the two – who were big rivals at college – Clark’s Fever team emerged victorious but Sky’s Chennedy Carter found herself the major talking point after bodychecking Clark off the ball.

Carter appeared to yell ‘You b****’ before knocking her over and Reese, who was on the sidelines, leapt up from her seat to cheer the move.

The incident ignited huge debate among followers of the WNBA, with both Clark and Reese helping drive interest in the league to a new level.
