LiqitrainingTaylor Swift and boyfriend Travis Kelce closed down DogPound gym in West Hollywood for a private training session on Sunday after a sushi dinner at Nobu. The couple, who have been hunkering down at her $25 million Beverly Hills home since returning from their romantic trip to the Bahamas, managed to fit in a workout despite their hectic schedules.
According to DailyMail.com, other gym members waited ‘outside for two hours till’ the duo finished their workout session. The 34-year-old pop artist recently stated that she prepared for The Eras Tour by singing on the treadmill, lifting weights, and strength training at DogPound six months before the show’s opening night in March.
Swift told Time in December that she knew this tour would be the most difficult she had ever done. “I finally, for the first time, physically prepared properly.”
In addition to avoiding drinking alcohol, the Cardigan hitmaker explained how she trained for her three-hour, 15-minute shows. ‘Every day, I would run on the treadmill while singing the full set list aloud,’ she explained. ‘quick for quick songs; jog or fast stroll for slow songs.’
Three months before the tour, Taylor began working tirelessly with choreographer Mandy Moore to learn the dance techniques. Emma Stone recommended Mandy to her. Emma previously collaborated with Mandy on the musical La La Land. She claimed that she stopped drinking altogether before the tour, saying, ‘Doing that show with a hangover… I don’t want to know that world.’
While Swift is an undeniable force in the gym, Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion, could be the ideal training partner. During the first few months of their courtship, which began in September, they spent a lot of time traveling to visit each other.
But things have calmed considerably for them as of late, with her last leg of the Cruel Summer songstress’ Eras Tour ending in early March and the athlete’s football season coming to a conclusion last month.
After a whirlwind six months packed with hectic schedules, nonstop travel, and cameras surrounding their every move, it was said that the pair were planning to ‘play house’ inside her Beverly Hills mansion.
