LiqitrainingIn a guest appearance on The Howard Stern Show Tuesday, the ESPN personality discussed the superstar’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end and if he believes it will last.
“She’s an incredible artist,” Smith, 56, remarked of Swift. “I attended her concert with my kid. That was insane, Howard. I loved it. I couldn’t believe how much I like it. “She was amazing.”
And the announcer was impressed by the Grammy winner’s popularity, stating that every concertgoer “knows every song.” Smith stated that he understands her boyfriend’s attraction when the radio presenter suggested they marry.
“He is a two-time Super Bowl champion, and he’s on the verge of potentially being a three-time Super Bowl champion,” the First Take co-host said of Kelce. “He is unanimously considered as one of the best tight ends in football history. Good-looking man with elegance and flair. He’s got talents. “He has a future in [broadcasting] after he retires from football.”
He said, “He’s got the look, the style, the stature, the pizazz, he’s the whole package, okay? “He’s a really good guy.” The outspoken sportscaster has already advocated for the pair. Earlier this month, on an edition of his ESPN show, Smith defended the “Anti-Hero” singer and addressed criticism she has received for attending Chiefs games.
“I have to take a moment to come to the defense of Taylor Swift,” she stated. “Everybody’s sitting up there acting like she’s an obstruction, but she performed her job. That era tour? “Off the chain, it generated billions.”
Smith went on to say that it “ain’t her fault” that Swift receives so much attention during NFL broadcasts. “It’s not like she used the games to bump up the concerts,” he went on to say. “Oh no! Those youngsters were attending to her performances regardless of whether the NFL promoted her.”
He said, “Taylor Swift is that girl. Let us show some respect. She’s probably going to have a favorable influence on Travis Kelce’s performance, okay? I am not trying to offend Taylor Swift.”
